*He was preparing the next round of the inhibitor as he stood outside the door of the Aux Medbay. He had gotten to half the mechs earlier, and was bringing a second batch now. He stood, about to activate his holo.

Until something brownish-red caught his attention on the wall near the door frame.*

I have noticed in all of the cases so far, that in those getting the inhibitor sooner before the Rust spreads too quickly, it seems to slow it down a bit more. It still doesn't stop it, but it is good reason for anyone with the Rust to get here as soon as possible. The longer it is held off, the better chance we have of a cure. We are still working on it, and we should be close to a cure within the next day or so...

*There's a note on the Aux Medbay door stating that those mechs visiting are to use HOLOFORMS ONLY. And he is there, making rounds, gathering data and samples, and walking around with more of the original cure, to help slow the growth process as much as possible.*

As most of you may know, there has been an outbreak of Cosmic Rust on the base. It appears to be a mutated strain of the original infection.

In light of this, I am issuing a base-wide Quarantine for all instances of this outbreak.

Anyone with --ANY-- rust-like substance anywhere on them is to report to the auxilary medbay, which will be temporary quarantine headquarters. This is a Medical Order. This goes for Leaders Megatron and Optimus Prime, should they be infected.

ALSO. Sections 31-34A are hereby UNDER QUARANTINE. THIS DOES INCLUDE THE COMMON ROOM, THE REC ROOM, AND TWO SECTIONS OF RESIDENTIAL QUARTERS.

Any mechs NOT infected are to stay AWAY from this area. Those who ARE allowed, with precautions, are Medical Staff and the Science Department.


Further tests concerning this outbreak are underway as we speak. Please remain calm, and proceed to the Auxilary Medbay and await further instructions.

It has come to my attention that, in all the recent events, regular checkups have been looked over. Therefore, as of NOW and through the rest of the week, I will be conducting checkups. Anyone who is not checked by the end of the week I will hunt down.

I will be checking for signs of strain, viruses, stress fractures, and I will be running defragmentations on those who need it.
